Katana Librarian offers the convenience of connecting your phone or tablet to your BOSS Katana amplifier via a Bluetooth adapter, which is available for separate purchase. This connection unleashes the full potential of your amplifier.
The app’s free version allows you to check your connection and load the pre-installed demo patches. An option for a single in-app purchase is available to access the complete feature set, enabling you to:
- Download patches from your amplifier.
- Adjust the patch parameters, supporting all effect types. The editor responds in real-time to changes made to the parameters on your amp.
- Explore undocumented Katana features such as hidden amps and multiple simultaneous effects.
- Organize your patches into groups, tag your favorites, or create set lists for live performances.
- Utilize the hotkey feature combined with a MIDI or HID foot switch for hands-free patch and effect switching.
- Import and export MkI and MkII .TSL files.
- Rename and delete patches at your convenience.
- Write patches directly to the amplifier’s channels.
- Simulate GA-FC pedal functionality, even on a KATANA-50 model.
